Serve the Church
Church To-Do List
Our Trustees have put together a “to-do” list of projects around the church, and we’d love your help! If you have some time during the week and are willing to lend a hand, this is a great way to serve the church in a practical way. Whether it’s a small task or a bigger project, every effort makes a difference!
Helping Hands
Helping Hands is a vital part of congregational care at Sterling United Methodist Church. This ministry offers practical expressions of love and support to individuals and families during important moments of life. Helping Hands volunteers provide meals for those who are experiencing illness, recovering from surgery, or welcoming a new child. When a funeral is held at the church, the team also hosts a reception—setting up and providing food—so that families can gather, share memories, and find comfort in community as they celebrate the life of their loved one. If you would like to serve as part of the Helping Hands ministry sign up below! Your willingness to help makes a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Sterling UMC has a strong team of Lay Leadership that helps to guide the activities and missions of the church! There is a place for you to plug in when you are ready!
