Rise Against Hunger

Sterling UMC is partnering with Rise Against Hunger, a global organization dedicated to fighting hunger in some of the world’s most food-insecure communities. Through school feeding programs, sustainable agriculture, and income-generating projects, Rise Against Hunger works to both meet immediate needs and create long-term solutions for food security.

As part of our 150th anniversary celebration, our church has raised the funds to purchase the raw materials needed to assemble 10,000 meals—and now we need your help to get them packaged and ready to send where they’re needed most.

This is a hands-on opportunity to serve together, make a global difference, and support children and families facing hunger right now. All ages are welcome, food will be provided for volunteers, and many hands are needed!
