God Never Said That: Forgive, Don't Forget

God never commanded us to "forgive and forget" — forgiveness doesn't require spiritual amnesia or pretending the pain never happened. What God does call us to is a grace-empowered choice to release bitterness and entrust justice to Him, even while healthy boundaries remain intact. True forgiveness doesn't change what happened, but it can powerfully change what happens inside of us.
