When we hear the word “Revealed”, we sometimes think of the book of Revelation in the Bible. More often we might think of something that’s been hidden and about to be discovered, disclosed, shown or made known.  There is excitement in the waiting and anticipation.

During this Lenten season we go through 40 days of wonder at all  God, through Jesus Christ, has revealed to mankind. Mark 9:7 says “This is my Son,  the Beloved; listen to Him!” and in Mark 9:23 says “Everything is possible for those who believe.”

Music has always been a large and important part of my life.  One particular song I first heard on my Emmaus Walk weekend has stayed we me. “Have you seen Jesus our Lord? He’s here in plain view. Take a look, open your eyes ” (heart and mind); daily He’s being revealed to you. Each of us learn from and are “encouraged by each other’s faith. ” Romans 1:12

Thomas doubted Jesus’ resurrection until he saw Jesus for himself and was told to “Stop doubting and believe.” John 20:27b, and 29b “blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. ”  The unexplained was a miracle revealed.

Only after our final breath on this earth will the majesty and mystery of faith and eternity finally be revealed.

Praise God!
