Missions Update – Jamaica and More

Jamaica Mission Team Update

Pastor Randy sent the following update on the team’s first couple of days in mission in Jamaica:

We have two very busy and full days.

Monday we were up for breakfast at 6:30 for an early morning assembly at Holland High School where we led about 800 students in morning devotions with songs, skits, and testimonies. We then visited Granville Home for Girls which is a home for troubled and orphaned girls. We led a time of worship and crafts. We then toured a new school called the Naz school.

The highlight of the day was out visit to the Hope Hospice. The Spirit of God was truly present in that place as we visited with the patients and shared songs and prayers. Everyone was blessed by the spirt and witnesses of the residents as we shared with them.

Monday evening was our first Children’s Crusade at Falmouth Methodist Church. 30 children attended and we had a wonderful time ministering to them.

Tuesday morning was another early wake up call. We visited 3 different schools and led morning devotions and worship. We did crafts and delivered Bibles.

Tuesday evening was our second children’s crusade at Hague Methodist Church. The church was full of children and youth who enjoyed our music, testimonies, crafts, games, and snacks.

We are having great fellowship and teamwork among our group. We feel the prayers of our prayer partners and church family.

The remainder of the week is equally full and we are looking forward to many more God moments.
