Mission Updates – Czech Team Update #2

Today’s update from the Czech Mission Team is provided below:

Dobre Den Church family!

The Lord is working in a big way around here already and it is really nice to be able to watch and be a part of this. Camp Poust is the place these kids come to grow closer to The Lord and reconnect with their Lord. So the people here are all so kind and focused on The Lord.

Today we joined the youth for morning worship which was really powerful. Imagine 50 people in a small chapel singing at the to of their lungs. Worship here is very special because of the energy and love for the music. I wish we could capture the passion to show you.

The whole team is really starting to mesh with the group of people here. Some really cool conversations have happened with our friends. One cool moment today was singing Amazing Grace as a small group with three other Czech youth.

The food has been incredible!

Much of the day was spent building relationships. We will start small groups, sermons, and English talking class tomorrow.

The unique thing about this trip is that we are really here to love, encourage, and speak God’s truth into lives. This trip is heavily relational and the work of teams past have really cultivated the soil so that we can help them grow.

Another cool thing today was that Kyle got to play the bass for the worship today and it was really cool to see the band mesh so fast.

In the grip of grace,
Nick Yother
