You’re Invited to Worship With Us this Lenten Season and Celebrate the Resurrection on Easter Sunday, here at Sterling Church!
Lenten Season Labyrinth
Opening on Ash Wednesday, March 2nd.
All are welcome to walk our labyrinth this Lenten Season to pray and meditate as you reflect on the season and the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“The purpose of the labyrinth is to have an opportunity this Lent to deepen in our spiritual disciplines. The labyrinth offers a new way to connect to our Creator. It is believed that labyrinths were developed in medieval times and were used for meditation. Ours is a Lenten project. The idea is to walk the path meditating and pondering the reading of the day or simply centering ourselves in God’s presence.” (Pastor Marcela)
You can participate on your own schedule and pace by yourself or with a group. Or you can join Pastor Marcela for meditation Tuesday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. or Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
Located in the front parking lot, the labyrinth will remain through Easter Sunday. To watch a video about the labyrinth, click here.
