2013 Famine Dates
April 5-6, 2013
Fasting. Funding. Praying. Learning. Feeding. Loving.
A child dies from hunger-related causes every 13 seconds. It shouldn’t be that way. It doesn’t need to be that way. God has called us to respond. We can do something.
On April 5-6 we will do something. We will go hungry for 30 hours to just get a glimpse of what life is like for many across the world.
This is an event for 6th-12th graders. We will have fun with games, spiritual growth in worship, and fellowship time. The goal our youth set this year is to raise $5,250. Please encourage and support our youth in this event.
World Vision International, a Christian aid organization that is active in many of the world’s poorest countries, will be receiving all of our funds.

Stop eating at 12:00 Noon on the 5th.
Also bring sleeping bag, change of clothes, and toiletries.
We will break the fast with communion and a meal at 6:00 PM on Saturday.
Have a parent pick you up by 7:00 PM on Saturday.
